Aurora and Nathan are not those people.
When a new transfer student walks into Aurora's psychology class, she doesn't think much of him — until the first placement test of the year. There, one corrected mistake in a question is all it takes to turn the quiet newcomer into the one thing Aurora never asked for: competition.
What begins as a battle over perfect scores soon grows into something neither of them quite knows what to do with. Between lectures, late nights, quiet victories, and increasingly blurred lines between rivalry and friendship, Aurora and Nathan slowly begin to discover just how much exists beyond the version of themselves they allow everyone else to see.
Because beneath the competition, teasing, and ordinary chaos of university life lie wounds neither of them is quite ready to show — and some things are much harder to face than losing by a single point.

I'd Hate To Love You is a character-driven, slice-of-life romance following Aurora and Nathan through the ordinary days of university life — and the considerably less ordinary relationship slowly growing between them.
Built around an intentionally slow burn, their story unfolds through lectures, exams, library nights, arguments, quiet conversations, and all the small moments that gradually turn rivalry into something neither of them expected. Beneath its lighter academic setting, however, the story isn't afraid to venture into darker places, exploring the pressure, grief, insecurity, and past wounds both carry with them.

I'd Hate To Love You is currently in the early stages of drafting, and there's still plenty for me to discover alongside Aurora and Nathan. As their story grows, so will this page — with more about the books, characters, and everything that finds its way between the pages.
For now, their story is only just beginning.
